Sound Planning is a noise and vibration consultancy specialising in noise assessments for air conditioning (AC Noise), kitchen extraction and general fan noise problems.

Sound Planning can assist from planning or retrospective planning stages; liaising with the local planning authority (LPA) and environmental health teams.

The noise assessment should usually be conducted in accordance with British Sandard 4142: 1997 - Method for rating industrial noise affecting mixed residential and industrial areas.

The acoustic report is submitted to the Local Planning Authority (LPA) including any noise mitgation stratgey required to meet the demands of BS 4142 and the LPA conditions.
